Today, fifteen (15) OPEIU & TWU experienced and lead organizers from across the country are together at the DRAFT TIME - Recruiting The Key Leaders We Need To WIN Clinic in the Dallas, TX area! They are sharing best practices and reinforcing principles to identify, recruit, and develop the workplace leaders critical to them and their co-workers in WINNING a strong union.

This clinic emphasizes building a strong organizing committee as key to winning union recognition and developing leaders for the long term. Organizers think through the key leaders they have on their current campaigns, ID leaders who they don't have, but need in order to win, and put a plan together to recruit and draft those key leaders to the team. In addition, we delve into what winning sports teams have done to recruit athletes they need to build their legendary dynasties, look at what we are doing, and what we can incorporate from their recruiting to develop workplace leaders key to winning dynasties to grow the labor movement.

The DRAFT TIME Clinic is happening Thursday, December 15 and Friday, December 16 at the TWU Local 513 Union office in Southlake, TX.
